Theodore Fodor of Ewing, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on March 14, 2015, after a long-term battle with Dementia. Born in Dombiratos, Hungary in 1927, Theodore was the son of Paul and Maria Fodor, and spent his childhood years on a farm, which his father maintained for the Duke of Hungary prior to the communist era. Theodore served as an alter boy at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Hungary, studied engineering and science at a Hungarian bordering school, and worked for the Hungarian Government prior to coming to the United States in 1956. Theodore met Margaret Stevenson in Trenton, New Jersey, and they married in 1965. Theodore was employed as an engineer by Ingersoil Rand, Western Electric, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies in Princeton, New Jersey, where he retired.
Theodore is survived by his daughter Barbara Fodor, of Ocean Ridge, Florida.
Services for Theodore will be private. Barbara Fodor gives special thanks for Theodore's care to Margaret Fodor, Dr. Ron Suzuki, Samaritan Hospice, and Mercer County, and is fortunate to have spent the past 3 months with Theodore until his death.
